Story

As most of you are aware our baby girl Dottie was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour age just 4 years old & on the day (4th September 2020) when she was diagnosed, we were blue lighted to Great Ormond Street (GOSH). We arrived at gosh and were transferred straight to HDU why they stabilised Dottie till she had lifesaving Brain surgery & the start of intensive chemotherapy!!

We continued with chemotherapy for over 20 months along with mri, blood testing, eye testing, hearing, the list is endless. We are still undergoing lots of treatment & testing from them today as unfortunately Dottie’s latest scans haven’t come back as stable 💔Dottie will be under Great Ormond Street until she is old enough to be transferred to the adult services ………… we have been a family of GOSH for over 12 years as our other daughter Bella is also undergoing care from them.

John’s (Dottie Dad) company have decided that Great Ormond Street will be the company’s (GB Railfreight) charity of the year and have picked a few events to take part in & the London Thames Bridges Trek is one of them. I'm so looking forward to doing something to give back to GOSH for what they have done & continue to do for Dottie & to make sure they get enough funds to help build the new children’s cancer centre. We are living every parents worst nightmare but we continue to stay positive with the help of the amazing hospitals & specialists around us
