My mum was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in May and after lots of tests, she was told they could not operate at that time as the tumor is too close to a major blood vessel. The consultant came up with a plan which means she will need 3 months of chemotherapy and then they will do another scan, in the hope the tumor has reduced so they can operate.

Currently my mum is going through the three months of chemotherapy at the Oncology Centre at Maidstone Hospital. The team there are fantastic and so very supportive. Always happy to help and nothing is too much trouble which is why I've decided to raise money for this very important and needed charity.

My mum has just started her 2nd cycle and unfortunately her hair has started to fall out. So to support my mum, I am braving the shave and we are both shaving our hair off.

The event will take place on Saturday 31 August 2024 at The Warden Bay (ME12 4NF) at 5pm. Please donate and even feel free to pop along!
