Story
St Michael's Hospice supports and enables the community of Hastings and Rother to live well with dying, death and loss.
As a group of friends we are doing this walk in memory of loved ones we have lost. Lou lost her dad Andrew 20 years ago on the 12th September and the 14th September would have been his birthday. As a tribute to him on this special day she thought it would be nice to celebrate his life.
We would also like to remember these special people close to our hearts along the way. They include Keith Morris ( who was great friends of us all and Lisa’s Father in Law) Kelly Guy ( Lisa’s cousin) Dorris Kitson (Fe’s Nanny) and Lieselotte Chamberlain (Neil’s Nan).
We would also like to remember our Dear Shazzie who sadly passed away when she was only 34, leaving behind her 3 beautiful boys. Lisa and her mum Carole set up the Shazzie Sparkle Trust in her memory who have raised a lot of money for the Hospice through the years.
As Lisa’s sister and a close school friend of Lou & Fe she is forever in our thoughts 🩷
Thank you for reading our stories and please help us to raise much needed funds for the hospice.
