Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Six weeks ago, my mum couldn't breathe and went to A&E, where an x-ray revealed fluid around her lungs. After draining it and conducting a scan, we received devastating news: she was riddled with cancer, with only the liver remaining unaffected.
The following weeks were filled with hospital appointments, each one more challenging than the last. On April 22nd, mum was admitted again due to fluid build-up. It was then decided that she would stay in the hospital until St. Wilfrid’s Hospice could provide end-of-life care, which began on May 9th. Whilst mum is still with us, we know our time together is limited.
In this difficult moment, I made a promise: I would shave my head for her and raise money for St. Wilfrid’s Hospice. Mums wish is for me to do this while she is still here so we can share one last laugh together—how could I not honor that?
I am asking you to dig deep and give what you can towards my goal of £1,000. Your support means the world to us during this challenging time.
