I am fundraising for Charlotte Straker House - a charitable care home in Corbridge. I work as a carer in the home and I want to raise money for my lovely residents, to fund their activities and also fund running costs for our newly opened community respite care bed.

The respite care bed is a very valuable service for the community as it offers free of charge short term respite care to those over 65 years of age in an ensuite room at Charlotte Straker House. The bed costs £60,000 a year and is entirely funded by donations and grants.

To raise as much money as possible, I am planning to walk 73 miles, the whole length of Hadrian's Wall, in 24 hours. This is a massive challenge and I would be so grateful for any donations - thank you for your support!
