Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page
When my mum received her cancer diagnosis our world's feel apart. My mum asked that she live with myself & my husband as sadly 2 days prior to her diagnosis my dad was also diagnosed with cancer too.
This was a truly difficult time for us all but we did what we could as a family. We shared lots of love & tears. Sadly I became a career, nurse etc & there wasn't much time to be their daughter.
The Hospice was mentioned to us & my perception was that this would mark the end. I was scared, however my beautiful mum had to go into the Hospice.
The Hospice allowed me to be a daughter again 💜 When I wasn't there I had full faith my mum would be happy & cared for in every way. The Hospice also treated myself & my family with pure love & supported us each visit in anyway we needed it. I have a little girl who loved spending to with her 'Gwar'. She always felt happy to visit. The Hospice is in no way like a hospital & we were able to make my mums room personal to her.
There aren't enough 'Thank Yous' that I can say to the staff at the Hospice for caring for my mum & my family. By taking part in this event, it will hopefully help other families that may require the help & love we received. 💜
