Story
We are raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK on behalf of our amazing Mum Kathleen, and we would be so grateful for your support. As many of our close friends and family will know, our Mum was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in January of this year. The past months have been an absolute rollercoaster for us as a family. From being fit and healthy, to overnight receiving this diagnosis, our Mum has underwent chemotherapy, and more recently major surgery in order to give her the best chances possible at life. She is a very special woman and has shown immense courage and determination so far. Therefore, as a family, we are taking on the challenge of running or walking 70 miles during the month of November for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Myself, my brother Paul, my Aunt Annemarie and cousins Stephen and Steven will all be either running it or walking it in order to raise money that can help with vital research, expert support and stronger advocacy for everyone affected by this awful disease. The care and support our Mum has received this year from the Beatson Cancer Centre and from Glasgow Royal Infirmary has been phenomenal to say the least. However, they need continued funding in order to maintain the care and support that they give to so many families that are affected by Pancreatic Cancer. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will mean so much. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page will also mean the world to us as a family.
For Mum, for Kathleen, and for all the families affected by Pancreatic Cancer, we want to make a difference with your help. Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️
