In July 2024 I received confirmation that I was a carrier of the MSH6 Lynch Syndrome variation gene, as such in February 2025 I had risk reducing surgery in the form of a full hysterectomy as this was the biggest risk for my variation. However I still need to have regular tests every 2 years to keep an eye on the other main cancer risk associated with this genetic mutation condition.

I want to raise money for Lynch Syndrome UK to help continue their great work in spreading awareness of this very unknown condition so that more people can be tested & diagnosed before they develop cancer rather than afterwards.

The more research that can be funded the easier it will be for future generations to deal with their possible diagnosis.
