I've recently joined the Board of this fantastic charity.

When Ben was poorly, I relied on counselling to help be there for Ben and the kids. It was a lifeline. It was through my counsellor I first heard of the centre, and the high quality training for counsellors learning to become independent professionals.

LCC has over 70 volunteer counsellors, offering year long counselling relationships for free. Our service enables people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to access mental health services, with little wait just when they need us.

People use our services to cope with grief, loss and trauma. Feedback from our clients is outstanding and this local service ensures the NHS is freed up for people who need them too.

Its a win/win - but we need your support.
