I have always wanted to go to the Himalayas to see Mount Everest and after having life threatening surgery 8 months ago I realised life is short and I need to follow my dreams . So I have booked to go with my good friend Paula in September this year and it will take us 2 weeks of walking .

We are paying for the trip ourselves and all the money raised will be donated .

I am supporting a charity close to home, My Dad had a kidney transplant 38 years ago. "Kidney Research" fund & deliver ground-breaking research to develop treatment and saved my dads life.

They are the largest charity dedicated to kidney research in the UK. Kidney disease ruins and destroys lives. Treatments are gruelling, relentless. There is no cure. We say this isn't good enough. We will transform kidney health. Kidney disease ends here.
