Story
Im an indiviual who personally has a diagnosis of ADHD and at times this condition has been debilitating for me as there was limited awareness at the stage I was diagnosed which made me feel further misunderstood. Without services like ADHD UK there would be no suppoet or awareness for myself and others struggling with this diagnosis.
Having ADHD or ADD is a challenge - both for the individual and for the people around them. ADHD UK are here to help people face the challenge. But we want more than just-about-coping. They want to help people to find their unique way and thrive.
They aim to do that through warm hearted support, quality relatable information, campaigning to raise awareness and empathy, advocating for ADHD/ADD politically, fighting for fair NHS & Education resources, and challenging employers to put in adjustments that work and create ADHD/ADD inclusivity.
ADHD UK are one of many organisations that do not receive government funding therefore, they rely on support and donations from fundraisers such as this. I would be very grateful for your support no matter how little the donation.
