Our beloved friend Louise sadly passed away on the 8th September 2023, 6 weeks following her initial cancer diagnosis.

Although the news came as a massive shock, she fought her short illness with courage, dignity and with her dry sense of humour present until the end.

In July 2024 I have set myself the personal challenge of completing a Mighty Hike through the beautiful and dramatic Peak District National Park in memory of Louise and to raise vital funds to support Macmillan cancer care.

I have pledged to raise a minimum of £500 for the cause and would appreciate any support in reaching this. By fundraising my pledge, I could pay for a Macmillan Support Worker for two days who could provide emotional, practical and financial advice to someone affected by cancer.
