OCTOBER IS MENTAL HEALTH MONTH !

The theme is "Let's talk about it ". Talking about mental health and wellbeing and knowing how to support others and ourselves , and where to find help breaks down stigma .

We know stigma gets in the way of conversations and help-seeking.

Deniliquin Mental Health Awareness Group ( Deni MHAG) is all about breaking down barriers and signposting the way to help.

Deni MHAG is Deniliquin's own local mental health charity. Everything we receive in donations are spent locally, in our community for our community.

We use the money to put on local events such as Halloween, Wellbeing events for specific targeted groups , creating wellbeing and mental health resources and maintaining our website - signposting the way to help.

This October I am asking our community to come on board and to support your local mental health charity- being Deni MHAG.

We are a registered charity so donations over $2 is tax deductible.
