Louth Cycle Club fundraising for The King's Outreach - Naomi's Garden

Lincolnshire Border Cycle Ride · 24 June 2023
Ordinary people taking on an extraordinary cycle challenge to raise money for Naomi’s Garden based in Manby, Lincolnshire.
This all started with a cycling friend, whose daughter was helped by Naomi’s Garden, his story inspired us to raise money for this incredible charity.
Naomi's Garden provides Conductive Education sessions in Rural Lincolnshire to individuals with movement disorders such as Cerebral Palsy, Parkinsons and Genetic disorders.
Lincolnshire is a BIG county.
We probably didn't realise how big when we said "OK, go on then, why not".
So, we are cycling around the border of Lincolnshire - 357 miles - but, the catch is, over two days!
Not many of us have ever come close to cycling this far.
190 miles the first day and 165 miles the second.
Starting in Louth, we join the route at North Somercotes. The first day will take us Southwards down the coast through Mablethorpe and Skegness. Boston, King's Lynn next and turning inland to Stamford. Eventually arriving at Staunton in the Vale for a much needed evening meal and bed.
The second day, North past Newark, through Gainsborough, Scunthorpe, past the Humber Bridge, Grimsby, Cleethorpes and completing the challenge back at Louth for a well earned drink (or few) at Ye Olde Whyte Swanne.
We have a team of 14 participants, of all abilities, who are up for the challenge.
Now we challenge you to make this worthwhile and hope that you may support us in any way you can.
