We help the babies, children and young people treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. We fund medical equipment, research, play programmes and family support services to ensure that our young patients receive the best possible care and experience.

Story

Diana's story

My son Mylo has received incredible care from Glasgow Children's Hospital several times since being born in Sept 2022. I want to say thank you to the NHS by fundraising as much as I can this year.

I've signed up to the Kiltwalk in April, I'll be running 10k in October with friends which should be fun but the greatest challenge will be the three peaks which my amazing friend Rachel has also signed up to do, taking our friendship to new heights. She is also a godmother to Mylo which makes it extra special.

Please help us raise £1000.

Thank you.

Rachel's story

Diana and I have known each other for more than 20 years, we've been through thick and thin together - from living together, working together, bridesmaids at each other's weddings, Godparents to each other's kids and everything inbetween!

Seeing my Godson Mylo have such a tricky start to life, as well as being very poorly over Christmas and the incredible support that Diana, Jon and the boys got from Glasgow Children's Hospital made me want to help fundraise for this wonderful charity.

Over 24 hours, Diana and I will be conquering the UK's biggest peaks - Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scaffel Pike (England) and Mount Snowdon (Wales). It's no easy feat as it will equate to 22 miles trekking up and down mountains (some in the dark!) for around 16 hours with little rest inbetween as we also have to drive between the peaks - all within just one day!

At the time of writing this, I am four months postpartum after giving birth to my second daughter so I will be using the next few months to try and regain my fitness in order to take on this colossal challenge.

We would really appreciate any donations you can give us to help our cause. Thank you so much.
