Story

Can You Help Us Reach the Summit for Loving Humanity?

This summer, we’re heading up England’s highest peak — Scafell Pike — to raise the profile of Amy’s amazing charity. Climbing a 14 mile route through the Eksdale valley to the 978m summit this one’s going to take every ounce of strength and determination !

Every penny we raise supports the incredible work of Loving Humanity, a small but mighty charity that’s dedicated to changing women’s lives.

Over the years , with your amazing help, the LH trek team have raised over £15,000.

Our goal this year ? To provide 1,000 girls and women in Gaza with long-lasting, reusable sanitary pad kits.

Each kit brings safety, dignity, and opportunity — and costs just £7 per girl, lasting for seven years or more.

Why This Matters:

Loving Humanity empowers women and girls living in poverty and conflict zones. Many have lost everything — yet they are rebuilding, with dignity and strength.

Each washable sanitary pad kit is handmade in Loving Humanity’s micro-factories by local women — including refugees — offering employment, purpose, and stability.

And the impact reaches far beyond hygiene:

Girls can stay in school, even during their period — leading to better grades, higher attendance, and renewed confidence.

Physical health improves as the washable pads prevent infections and discomfort caused by cheap, plastic-based alternatives.

Families save money — especially vital in households with many daughters.

Loving Humanity already helps 17,600 girls a month with their micro-factory in Jordan employing Iraqi refugee women who fled ISIS.

Kits have been delivered across the Middle East and Africa — and now, they are trying to raise the funds to make another 1,000 kits to send to Gaza.

Their last delivery to Gaza was made by The Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, a diocese whose territory spans Cyprus, Jordan, Israel, and Palestine — ensuring these vital kits reached women and girls in desperate need.

The Numbers:

£7 = 1 girl supported for 7 years or more.

£30,000 = 4,000 girls helped each year

Every donation goes directly toward wages, materials, and getting these life-changing kits into the hands of those who need them most. We’ve seen what’s possible.

Let’s do it again — together
