Lowri's Ironman 70.3 fundraiser for Tenovus Cancer Care

IRONMAN Swansea 70.3 · 14 July 2024
Cancer, the big C, the dreaded word that unfortunately we all know too well.
Despite the research and fantastic work being done to find a cure for this dreaded disease, it unfortunately affects far too many lives and impacts upon family and friends of those suffering and fighting the disease.
This July, for my impending 40th birthday, I'm taking part in my first ever triathlon at Swansea IRONMAN 70.3 in order to fundraise for Tenovus Cancer Care.
This is a huge personal challenge for so many reasons, but it doesn't understate the challenges and daily struggles that those living and fighting with cancer so bravely face.
Tenovus Cancer Care bring treatment, emotional support and practical advice to the heart of the community.
They’ve helped thousands of cancer patients cope after a diagnosis, and given them hope for the future. But Tenovus Cancer Care needs our support today so that they can be there tomorrow.
Your donation will mean that they can continue to support cancer patients and their loved ones, promote healthy lifestyles and fund cancer research to find new ways to prevent it, diagnose it, and treat it.
Any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.....together, we can fight this.
