Story
Hey!
In August 2026 I’ll be heading to Tanzania, with students from my University and across the UK on a multi-day trek to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, the world’s highest freestanding mountain.
If you know me, this won't be a shock. It's yet another one of those crazy dreams that I'm fortunate to have the opportunity to make a reality (with your help!).
Though, this challenge is about more than reaching the summit. My first challenge is reaching my fundraising target: a goal to raise awareness for mental wellbeing, encourage others to get outside (my favourite and simplest form of self-care), and support Student Minds so that every student, teacher, colleague, family, and friend can access vital support through an informed community.
Every donation, share, and support along the way is greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much - and go outside xx
A note from Student Minds:
Student Minds is the UK’s student mental health charity. Our goal is to transform the state of student mental health so that all in higher education can thrive. We support students to develop the knowledge, confidence and skills to look after their own mental health, support their peers and create change. We also work collaboratively with institutions, students’ unions and other organisations involved in higher education, supporting them to take a whole-university approach to mental health.
