Brake is a national road safety charity that cares for road victims and campaigns for safer roads for all. Brake's National Road Victim Service is a specialist support service to help families cope with the shock, turmoil and devastation that road crashes cause families across the UK every day.

Story

The Louisey Rider Cup is an annual roller derby tournament hosted by Nottingham Roller Derby, with 100% of profits going to Road safety charity, Brake.

It celebrates the life of skater Louise Wright, aka Louisey Rider #66, who was sadly taken from us in a cycling accident in 2014. The event is an epic celebration of the things she loved so expect live-action roller derby, snazzy costumes, oodles of glitter and a right ole knees up at the epic after party.

This year we're celebrating an amazing ten years of the Louisey Rider Cup, watch this space for details about our 2025 fundraiser or support Brake by donating here now!
