LSH Belfast are proud to be taking part in the Belfast Marathon Relay to raise funds for Friends of Drumross – a brilliant charity that supports the life-changing work of the Drumross and New Way adult day centres in Newtownabbey.

These centres provide essential day care services for adults with learning disabilities, creating a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where individuals can grow, gain confidence, and enjoy meaningful activities. From developing life skills to building friendships, every day is designed to empower and uplift.

But the impact doesn’t stop there — Drumross and New Way also provide vital reassurance, respite, and emotional support for families and carers, offering peace of mind that their loved ones are in a kind, professional, and engaging setting.

Friends of Drumross helps raise funds to enhance these services, providing resources like sensory equipment, activity materials, wellbeing initiatives, and community outings that bring joy and real value to those who attend.
