For those of you that know me well will know that my newborn son "Theo" had to go into the ICU at Cambridge hospital for almost 2 weeks.

This was probably the most stressful time of my life and was a very difficult time for me and my family.

Thankfully he is okay now thanks to the amazing hospital.

Whilst at Cambridge Hospital I was so thankful that "Sick Children's Trust" provided us an acommodation called: "Acorn House" at the hospital.

This made a very stressful time just slightly less stressful as we were literally a few minutes away from my son's ward, could bring our daughter with us and allowed visitor's to help us also.

At my time there I met other parents who were going through extremely hard situations with their children and listening to their story really made you realise what some people go through that you don't really think about.

As a huge thank you, I want to raise money for this charity whom I really believe are doing an amazing thing for parents that are going through what no parent wants to go through.

I was already going to do this Spartan race, but now I'd like to raise money for this amazing charity.

For those of you that don't know the Spartan race that I am doing is a 21km 30 obstacle race and is the longest I have ever run in my life, which I think is a great opportunity to raise money.
