At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

This year, I’m setting out on an extraordinary mission: 50 marathons in 50 days, pushing my body and mind to the limit to fight for something far greater than myself — a future without Alzheimer’s.

Alzheimer’s disease robs people of their most precious memories, their independence, and their connections to the people they love. But together, we can fight back. Every mile I run will be in honour of those battling this cruel disease and the families walking alongside them every day.

This challenge isn’t just about endurance — it’s about hope, strength, and resilience. It’s about showing that even the biggest battles can be faced with courage and community.

Your support can spark real change. Every donation fuels life-changing research, care, and hope. Please join me on this journey — together, step by step, we can create a world where memories are never stolen.

Alzheimer’s is personal for me. I’ve seen first-hand the pain it causes — the confusion, the heartache, and the slow loss of someone you love. It doesn’t just affect the person living with the disease; it touches everyone around them.

I’m running these 50 marathons not just for awareness, but for change. For the families sitting by a bedside wishing for one more good day. For the moments that are stolen too soon. For the hope that one day, no one will have to say goodbye this way.

This challenge is my way of fighting back — mile after mile, day after day. It’s bigger than running; it’s about resilience, hope, and love.

If my steps can bring us even a little closer to a cure, then every ounce of effort will be worth it.
