I have decided this year that as I will be 17 just in time to be old enough to enrol to run the Great North Run.

I will be running for Bright Red. This is a charity very close to mine and my family's heart. Throughout this last year my family has been deeply affected by cancer.

Bright Red is a charity that researches extremely rare blood cancers and whose founder is a Doctor who has helped and supported my family during a very difficult time.

My aim is to raise as much as I can to help the charity to continue their amazing work, to give people a better chance of survival and to help them support other families in the same position my family found themselves.
