18 years ago I was born at 28 weeks (12 weeks premature) at the countess of Chester.I then spent the next 3 months in the care of the neo natal staff.18 years later I have decided to walk the Anglesey costal path(125 miles)to raise funds to give back to the unit that helped me when I was born.
I will be walking the coast path a long side stewart Allen and Tomos hughes
The unit has a total of 13-cots provide specialist and high dependency care for newly born and premature babies born at 32-weeks and above. Babies who need special care, but are well enough to be with their mother, may be nursed in Transitional Care .
