I have supported this wonderful charity for many years and truly believe the work the do makes a huge difference to local Mums and Babies that are in need.

I have seen how dedicated and passionate they are about providing vital equipment to mums living in poverty and they work tirelessly to ensure they are making a difference right on our doorsteps.

I have been extremely fortunate not to have those worries having my two beautiful children, and have always passed on my m baby bits to mama to mama and donated at every opportunity I have had.

This is my chance to help them whilst always improving my physical and mental well being by training for and running the Brighton 10K.

Mama to Mama is a lifeline for families in Thanet, one of the most disadvantaged areas in England, where 1 in 3 children live in poverty. They are the only baby bank service in Thanet, providing essential preloved baby items, hygiene products, grants, workshops, and support to help give every child the best start in life.

Their work goes far beyond just providing physical items. They offer a beacon of hope and support to parents facing immense challenges, including:

By providing crucial items, they alleviate the financial burden on families, allowing them to focus on their children.

Mental health struggles:

Their beautifully curated care packages are designed to boost mental well-being and show parents that someone cares. They also offer free workshops and a buddy service, helping to combat isolation and build confidence.

In 2024 alone, Mama to Mama re-homed over £101,000 worth of preloved clothing and equipment to 122 families in Thanet. This not only supports families but also champions circular living by diverting items from landfill.
