Story

Nacoa (The National Association for Children of Alcoholics) is a charity founded in 1990 to provide help and support for anyone affected by a parent’s drinking.
Hi I’m Lucia
Many of you know my story and it wasn’t a nice one, sadly it lead to my children losing their dad at the ages of 5 and 12.
Running has really helped my mental health as well as my physical fitness. We need to help these kind of charities as alcohol abuse affects more families than we realise .
I am participating in the French Riviera Marathon from Nice to Cannes to raise awareness and funds for Nacoa.
My goal is to raise £1,000 to support their vital work in helping children who are affected by parental alcoholism, which can be physical, emotional neglect and even violence .
Your generous contributions will help the lives of countless children who need our support to create a nurturing environment where they can thrive.
Any contribution would be greatly appreciated
Thank you
Lucia x
