With the generous support of a local artist, I'm raising money for Save the Children, to help them help children in Ukraine.

This beautiful Textile Picture entitled 'Ukrainian Peace Tree', made by Alison White, a textile artist based in Hertfordshire, can be yours: we'll draw a raffle on Ukraine Defenders Day, 14th October 2023. Between now and then, please make a donation to Save the Children so that they can aid children and families in peril. All who donate will be entered in the raffle. (If you wish to remain anonymous that's fine of course, but we then can't enter you into the raffle.)

IMPORTANT NOTE: According to Gaming Commission rules, Gift Aid cannot be part of your donation if you are going to be entered into the draw. Please therefore tick 'no' when you are asked about Gift Aid.

Your donations will be given to our Child Emergency Fund, enabling us to reach children as quickly as possible.

The war in Ukraine recently passed its first anniversary, and is escalating once again. More than 1,270 children were killed in 2022. These numbers are beyond tragic, and likely an underestimation.

Thousands of children and families are still being forced underground to bunkers, as violence and shelling continues.

Air strikes and explosions are destroying buildings, killing and injuring children, and making it harder to access essential healthcare and education.
