Story
🏃♀️💗 Lucie is taking on her FIRST Charity Fun Run! 💗🏃♀️
At just 6 months old, Lucie developed severe eczema, and since then it has been a huge part of her life — and ours as a family.
Eczema is so much more than “just dry skin.” For Lucie, it has meant painful, inflamed skin, relentless itching, sleepless nights, infections, hospital stays, endless creams and treatments, and days where simply getting dressed, having a bath or getting through bedtime can feel overwhelming.
It has affected her physically and emotionally in ways that people don’t always see. There have been times when her skin has been so painful and uncomfortable that she hasn’t been able to enjoy the simple things other children take for granted. 💔
Despite everything she has been through, Lucie continues to amaze us with her strength. She is now taking on her first ever charity fun run, and I couldn’t be prouder of her. 🥹❤️
She is running to raise money for Eczema Outreach Support (EOS) — an organisation that supports children and families living with eczema, helping them feel understood, supported and less alone.
I know first-hand how isolating eczema can feel as a parent. There have been so many moments where I’ve wished there was more support, more understanding and someone who truly understood what we were going through.
By supporting Lucie, you’re not just helping her reach the finish line. You’re helping other children and families who are living through the same battles.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, would mean so much to us. 💗
Go on, Lucie! 🏃♀️✨ We are so incredibly proud of you! ❤️
