Story
As many of you will know I have set myself the challenge of completing 40 things before I turn 40 in December '26. On my list I wrote the target 'Do something that scares you' and 'Raise money for charity' - I'm pretty certain doing a Wingwalk for charity will allow me to tick both of these off my list. Also last year I witnessed my husband do the Wingwalk for James Hopkins Trust. After watching him successfully complete his wingwalk and raise money for this brilliant charity, I thought to myself, I want to do that - so here I am, signing myself up!
I am carrying out a Wingwalk in aid of James Hopkins Trust on 19th August 2026!
James Hopkins Trust provides care & support for Gloucestershire's life limited and life threatened young children. Our free nursing respite can be day or night in the family home or at our multi-sensory respite centre and gardens called Kites Corner. We are here to create special, lasting memories.
All funds raised will go towards nursing respite care for life-limited and life-threatened children.
