My beautiful best friend, Em, received her MS diagnosis in December 2021 after having Optic Neuritis leaving her temporarily blind in one eye. Naturally this made both her physical and mental health challenging for her ever since, which breaks my heart as she's always managing to make light of things and crack (mostly inappropriate) jokes, whether that's to make us feel better or her. I wish MS didn't exist, it's an awful illness, but we can find new and improved treatment by raising money for research. That's why a group of us are walking 10km in May for the MS Society charity; to raise funds and awareness. We're doing it with and for Em because we love her and her beautiful, kind heart 🧡
