I have just turned 50 and was inspired by my best friend Lisa to take the plunge and sign up for the London marathon.

I wanted to raise funds for a charity that I had knowledge of via my work or personally. SCOPE ticked both of the boxes.

I know that the funds raised will make a vital difference. There are 16 million disabled people in the UK and 11% of children are disabled.

Life costs an extra £975 per month on average if you are disabled and twice as likely to be unemployed.

So please as I will be digging deep to complete the training and course can you dig deep too and donate to this very deserving charity.
