Story
As some of you may know, my mum passed away from her very short and sudden battle with cancer in 2022. Mum said when she was as in hospital that when she got better she wanted to volunteer for Macmillan to help support others going through the same thing. Unfortunately she never got better.
Isabella, my 9 year old daughter, has decided she wants to do a run for grandma, to raise funds for cancer research and Macmillan. Anything raised will be split between the two. We have a page for each and also a sponsorship form for any cash donations.
She will be running 1 mile (just over 4 laps of the athletics track) every day for 14 days, finishing up on the 15th day with a lap of the Batley Bulldogs pitch at half time of their last home game against Whitehaven. Starting on Sunday 8th September and finishing on Sunday 22nd September.
I am so very proud of her for wanting to do this, and any donations and shares are very much appreciated
Thank you for reading
