Story
Daisy was a truly remarkable young woman, fiercely determined, brave, and much loved daughter, sister, cousin and friend.
As a talented athlete, teacher, and foodie, her world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with cancer. Her battle led to a radical, life-altering 16-hour surgery to reconstruct her tongue, costing her the very things that brought her the most joy. Yet, even in the midst of this unimaginable trauma, Daisy’s primary thought was gratitude. She estimated that her care at The Royal Marsden cost £200,000, and she desperately wanted to help cover those costs for future patients.
Today, we are fundraising to fulfil Daisy’s goal while raising vital awareness that cancer can strike young, fit, and active people, a reality that is far too often overlooked or diagnosed late.
To honor Daisy’s memory and champion early detection, I am competing in the Emilia Romagna Ironman:
3.8 km Swim
180 km Bike
42.2 km Marathon Run

Please support this mission to continue Daisy's vision by raising much-needed funds for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Every donation helps ensure young, active people receive the early awareness, diagnosis, and world-class care they deserve
