Last month on the 25th April we lost my beautiful Grandad Clive 🫶🏻. He put up a fight the last 18 months and we are all so proud of him. When I was due to do a half marathon a couple of months ago and didn’t due to an injury, my grandad wrote down to me ‘Your time will come, just keep going’. And that is exactly what I am going to do, I will think of my Grandad the whole way round and that will certainly get me to that finish line. Just want to make him so so proud.

What also makes this half marathon truly special is the impact each mile has on the families Havens Hospices cares for. With every step, you contribute to ‘Making every day count’ for people of all ages who are living with incurable conditions and their families.
