I'm taking part in Breast Cancer Now's - Night in the Wild to help fund vital breast cancer research and support. My beautiful friend Karen has inspired me to step outside my comfort zone and join her and our lovely friends in the Lake District.

For one night, I'll be challenging myself to spend a night in the great outdoors, without any of my home comforts. Building my own shelter for the night, I'll swap a hot shower for a sleeping bag and my alarm clock for the dawn chorus. Finally, a wild swim in the beautiful Lake Buttermere.
