Support My Little Ones to Acquire a Service Dog

Little Angels Service Dogs · 10 January 2020 to 31 December 2023 ·
Hello, my name is Luciana De Souza (everyone calls me Lucy), and I have three adorable, brave, and kind children: Sophie (11 years old), Chloe (9 years old), and Matthew (7 years old). Let me tell you about my children:
• Sophie – is Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH), wears bilateral hearing aids, and her first language is American Sign Language (ASL). Also, she has been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
• Chloe – is Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) and wears bilateral hearing aids. She has also been diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
• Matthew – is Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH), wears bilateral hearing aids, and his first language is American Sign Language (ASL). Also, Matthew has autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
My children were approved by Little Angels Service Dogs to have a psychiatric and hearing assistance dog. The psychiatric and hearing dog will assist my children with Hearing alert, Non-protective boundary control, and Deep pressure therapy.
The ADA Regulations defines a service animal as “any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability”. What is so very exciting is that this dog will actually benefit ALL THREE CHILDREN! The hearing service dog will play a vital role in ALL my children’s lives. This very special dog will help my children to perform day-to-day tasks, enabling them to live normal lives as much as possible.
As you probably already guessed, these specialized dogs are very expensive and Little Angles Service Dogs is an Assistance Dogs International (ADI) accredited organization and a 501(3)c organization which means they rely 100% on donations, from people like you. Please consider donating to this wonderful organization so that you can help people like Sophie, Chloe, Matthew, and others like them who want to live an independent and normal life.
Please donate today through this JustGiving page and consider making your donation a monthly gift. If you would like to write a check, please make it payable to Little Angels Service Dogs and mail it to the address below. In the memo section of your check, please write the code PH-DE-SO.
