Race to the Stones Ultra Marathon · 7 July 2023

In a world filled with challenges, our veterans deserve unwavering support and we’re here to provide mental health, employment and care coordination programmes to help them get back on their feet. Join us in shaping a future where veterans thrive and families flourish.

Story

I'm taking part in the Race to the Stones Ultra Marathon over the weekend of 7-8 July. The aim is to cover 100km from Lewknor to Avebury Stones with an overnight stop along the Ridgeway and via a number of White Horses! I had planned to do this last year, but was diagnosed with cervical cancer. It will be a year since I had a radical hysterectomy and I'm ready for this in more ways than one.

As an ambassador for WWTW, I have always been impressed with the support they give veterans, having met a number myself and listened to their story. Feel free to provide a small donation - it will go a long way with this organisation and make a tangible difference. WWTW supports those who have served in the Armed Forces and their families, empowering them to regain their independence, thrive and contribute in our communities.

My number is 3145 and you can follow it live at this link: https://www.thresholdtrailseries.com/follow-it-live/
