My incredible son Alfie was born in end stage renal failure. Due to the care and dedication of multiple teams at Leeds Children’s Hospital, he is now a boisterous 4 year old, full of sass and living his best life. Without the incredible care he’s received it’s doubtful he would have made it this far, never mind through the gruelling challenge of a kidney transplant, with his Daddy also donating. I’m forever blessed, forever grateful, and want to celebrate this incredible boy, and the life giving gift of organ donation 💚
