Story
In April 2026, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Palace for Life Foundation.
I have a very special connection and reason for running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Palace for Life Foundation. My dad, Steve Parrianen, was a Crystal Palace supporter since he was a child. He had a season ticket, travelled round the country watching games and was a big fan… however… he was even more than this. He created his own 5 a side football team which was called ‘cheshunt eagles’ after CPFC. His business was called Eagles Business Transitions Ltd - inspired by CPFC. My dad was very generous and caring- he did a lot of charity work with various charities (guide running, money raising etc) and he raised money for the Palace for Life Foundation previously. He did the marathon march in 2021.
Unfortunately my dad passed away of a sudden heart attack on 04.08.22. It is still beyond devastating for our family and we miss him so much.

I know he will be proud of my journey into longer distance running (supported by Dad’s running friends) and that I am supporting the Palace Foundation.
Any support will be greatly appreciated.
