I am undertaking a trek from Visakhapatnam to Pattamundai on the East Coast of India to raise funds for Kriya Yoga UK, to be able to support one of our charities in India which is the Balashram school in Pattamundai.

I will be walking around 4-5hours every day to raise much needed funds to allow under privileged and orphaned children to be educated in The Balashram school. The school is residential school, allowing the children access to free education, food and accommodation. It also provides the children the opportunity to overcome the economic inequality that they find themselves in.

The Balashram school helps to provide these children with the much needed education to be able to find employment as they grow into young adults.

The vision of Balashram school extends far beyond providing education and a secure life for these underprivileged children each year. It is to nurture each child into a change agent, empowered with knowledge, compassion, and character—capable of transforming not just their own lives, but also uplifting their communities. Through these children, Balashram envisions a ripple effect that accelerates social progress and contributes to building a more equitable and enlightened society.

Please do, if you can, help me raise funds for these underprivileged and orphaned children. Helping them on from their difficult start in their life journeys, to one where they can be educated in a supportive environment and to help each of these children reach their highest potential.
