The Canterbury Academy is fundraising for East Kent Hospitals Tiny Toes for our Communities Day Marathon Effort.

Students will select their charity and join a team to fundraise for. We will celebrate marathon efforts at our event on 21st July.

Our Tiny Toes campaign supports the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital in Margate, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford. These units are specially designed and equipped to care for poorly new-born babies.

Thanks to our amazing communities, we have been able to commit funding to numerous projects in recent years, such as refurbishment of parent accommodation, developmental aids for the babies on the unit, enhanced training for staff, and of course, providing Christmas stockings for the families over the festive period.

Your support will ensure that we can continue to make a positive difference to families, babies and staff in the future.
