On 25th April 2027 I will be running the London Marathon to raise money for The Sick Children’s Trust in memory of my daughter Chelsea.

In 2012 Chelsea fell into a garden pond and sadly died 12 days later. During those 12 days I spent time at Addenbrooke’s Hospital where a room was kindly offered to me at Acorn House.

Acorn House supports families with a sick child being treated at Addenbrooke’s Hospital by giving them a welcoming and supportive place to stay just minutes from their seriously ill child’s hospital bedside. Acorn House was invaluable to me, giving me somewhere to rest and still be close by to Chelsea.
