Lucy Knox is raising money for Inflammatory Neuropathies UK

Skydive · 26 September 2026

Inflammatory Neuropathies UK is dedicated to helping people impacted by GBS, CIDP, MMN, and over 40 other Inflammatory Neuropathies. We provide information & support (personal grants, counselling, peer support), advocate & raise awareness, and help to fund & facilitate research.

Story

I have decided to take part in a charity skydive! 🪂 I’m not entirely sure why I thought plumiting towards earth at 100mph was a good idea but at least it’s for a good cause 🤷🏼‍♀️

I am raising money for Inflammatory Neuropathies UK.

This charity is particularly close to my heart. Both my mum and my brother have been affected by inflammatory neuropathies, so I’ve seen first-hand the impact these conditions can have, not only on the person living with them but on the whole family. With my mum living with CIDP for over 10 years which, although it is highly treatable, it is not yet curable. It really does prove to be an important matter in my life. 🫶🏻

Inflammatory Neuropathies UK supports people living with conditions including Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS), Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP), MMN and many other inflammatory neuropathies. They provide information, emotional support, practical help and grants, while also supporting research into these conditions.

These conditions can be incredibly rare and there isn’t much awareness around these, which is why it’s so important donating to a charity who not only supports research but invests in growing awareness.🎗️

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help support a charity that genuinely does important work for people and families affected by these conditions.

If you’re able to donate, I’d be incredibly grateful. And if you’re not, sharing my page would mean just as much

Thank you!
