Story

On May 25th, me and my brother Jamie will be running (or should I say attempting) the Edinburgh Marathon to raise funds for Bowel Cancer UK. This charity has become incredibly important to us since our mum was diagnosed with bowel cancer in December 2024. It's amazing how quickly a charity can become so significant, which is why we have decided to not waste any time and start supporting the cause and raising awareness as soon as possible!

Thanks to Bowel Cancer UK's extensive research, our mum is already undergoing treatment. Watching her accept and face this with such courage and resilience has inspired us to support all the vital work that Bowel Cancer UK does. We’ve since learned that bowel cancer is the third most common cancer in the UK, and this charity can help provide the essential resources, support and research to help those affected.

By donating, you will be making a massive difference to the lives of many people battling this form of cancer. Your support would mean the absolute world to us as well as our family, and will ultimately bring us one step closer to a future where no one has to suffer from this illness!

Love,

Lucy & Jamie x
