For me personally I want to push through the fear of being in a dark uncomfortable place and feeling alone (that is the English Channel at 2am). So many of our comrades feel this for other reasons and I want to take this opportunity to build awareness of such a good charity that helps to rebuild the lives of others who may find themselves in a place of darkness. The Lord Kitchener Memorial Holiday Centre has been providing discounted breaks to military personnel, veterans and their families since 1919. Based in a Grade II listed building on Lowestoft's seafront, its an ideal break away for those who need it within the military and blue light communities. Kitchener's also offers a free drop in for veterans in need.
