Story
So, where to start?
Those closest to me will already know that my mum was diagnosed not too long ago with terminal cancer.
12 years ago my fantastic mum battled and beat a triple negative breast cancer diagnosis, tackling surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and just a casual masters degree in the process.
My mum received the devasting news that her breast cancer has returned, this time in her lungs, once again triple negative. Rocking our entire world.
The strongest, most caring, most resilient person I could of ever asked to have as a mum. With the support of her wonderful friendship group we are still sticking it to cancer and spending the time we have making the most wonderful memories. Including days out touring the Arsenal stadium, bake off experiences and lots and lots of ladies that lunch days.
I am taking part in the Alton Towers 5k (would have been 10k but it also happens to be my birthday that day and I want to spend time hitting up the rides with my mum!) to raise money so others facing the same diagnosis we are get as much time to make amazing memories with their loved ones too.
For those that can, I want to thank you for any donation, it is so appreciated.
