Story
The parish church of All Saints in Crondall - where I am serving my curacy - urgently needs to adapt to meet the needs of our community. We will be future-proofing our West End by restoring the ancient, weathered stonework and adding some toilet and storage facilities.
To raise funds I plan to cycle 250 miles on my pushbike over the school holidays. I did a trial ride yesterday so I know ten mile rides are possible but I might invest in some decent cycling shorts and it would be nice if someone cut the vegetation back on the canal towpath to minimise scratches and nettle stings!
I truly appreciate any donation you feel able to give me, however small, to help us keep our church building fit for purpose for another 800 years (and so that on all those Sundays I spend so long in church there will actually be the opportunity to "nip to the loo"!)
