Those close to me know that my beloved Nana Anna suffered with Dementia till the end of her life at an impressive age of 96 back in 2018. She was loved by all who met her and truly was the kindest person I’ve ever met.

The Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.

Watching my Nana slowly disappear to dementia was the greatest loss of my life so far. In honour of Nana Anna, and to commemorate my 30th birthday this year, I am doing Trek26 for the Alzheimer's Society.
