Story
My mum, Lindsey, was diagnosed in March 2025 with stage 3 ovarian cancer. Hearing those words completely broke us. Between March and August that year, she faced many complications, undergoing a stoma surgery, having two kidney stents fitted, and enduring countless other tests and procedures.
End of July she sadly ended up in the Duchess of Kent Sue Ryder in Reading. The cancer was so aggressive there was nothing more that could be done. My beautiful mum passed away on Saturday 30th August 2025.
Im fundraising for Duchess of Kent in Reading. Their hospice is absolutely incredible. From the receptionists to the drs. Every single staff member treated my mum with the most beautiful care whilst keeping her dignity. They consistently checked in with us as a family also. The services and care at this hospice was outstanding and I promised my mum I would fundraise for them.
Every event we do all money raised will be donated to Duchess of kent In memory of my mum.
