Fundraising page for Jules, Amy, Lucy, Tom and Joe Stocks and Tom Marriage! All running together raising money for UNICEF in support of Lucy!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I am SUPER excited to share that I am participating in the Clipper 2025-26 Race, a once in a lifetime opportunity involving unimaginable waves, wildlife like I’ll never see again and more importantly a chance to learn to sail in the most extreme conditions possible! My goal is to raise £1,500 to support UNICEF UK’s vital work for children around the world.
UNICEF is dedicated to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive. They work tirelessly in 190 countries and territories, providing essential vaccinations, education, and protection for children in need. Their commitment to saving lives and defending children's rights inspires me every day. Together, we can help fulfill the potential of countless children who deserve a brighter future.
Before I leave for the Clipper race, I will complete a half marathon: the Cheltenham half marathon alongside friends and family. If anyone knows me, they will know I am NOT a runner or a sailor! But why be comfortable when you can push yourself out of your comfort zones to fundraise for an extraordinary cause? UNICEF is changing people's lives, and I want to do as much as I can to help.
Just £5 could provide 1,786 water purification tablets to purify water in emergency situations. This is just one example of how a small donation can make a big difference in supporting children in need. Together we can save lives.
Below I have linked two short videos showing a bit more of what the clipper race is. In my opinion it takes equal levels of skill to drive to madness to complete this race but with your donation it makes sailing into the unknown even more worth it!

UNICEF has been both a Charity and Team Partner for the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race since the 2015-16 edition and during this time has raised £1.6 million for children around the world.
